Bad Powerpoint Costs 250 Million Wasted Hours/Day

“…Bad powerpoint presentations are a serious threat to the global economy…” YES, YES, YES…it is estimated that there are 250 Million hours of waste per day via bad powerpoint presentations. And that’s just the lost time.  There are other costs! Let’s use artists instead of Powerpoint!!!!  John Bohannon and Black Label Movement demonstrate how dance (and theatre?) can help illuminate complex issues and speak to our world today.

This reminds me of Boal’s “Theatre of the Oppressed”, Playback Theatre and other forms of art.  It also is another reason, I believe, for arts in the church.

The challenge, I believe, is not just to use art to help us understand science and politics…how about faith, religion and theology?  What do you think?
