“Children of God” – adoption song from Third Day

Great song from Third Day that celebrates every believer’s adoption by God the Father through Jesus…you can hear the echoes of Ephesians 1:3-8 in the lyric.  At first, I was unsure about the video below b/c there seemed to be a disconnect between the images and the song.  But if you stick with it, you’ll see that they come together to help us see the connection between earthly adoption and the spiritual adoption of all believers.  In other words, the video helps us see adoption here on earth is a picture of our adoption as believers and both are rooted in God’s plan and God’s character.

By the way, am I the only one who thinks Mac Powell looks like the Jesus in most Sunday School pictures?  Sorry, that was a side-note.  Enjoy…
